Club elections to take place May 27
The current Club Executive term will end at the end of June and it is time to elect a new team that will lead the club for the next 6 months (July to December 2026). Club Executive elections will be held May 27th.

The team will consist of the following individuals:

  1. Club President - leads the club, plans club activities, and chairs meetings
  2. VP Education - plans meetings and works with members to achieve their educational goals
  3. VP Membership - looks after guests, answers questions they may have, and handles membership applications
  4. VP Public Relations - manages our social media and handles guest inquiries
  5. Treasurer - manages the club's finances by collecting dues, paying bills, and keeping financial records
  6. Sergeant-at-Arms - prepares the room for meetings and brings meetings to order
  7. Secretary - maintains club supplies and takes minutes during Executive meetings
If you care about the club, want to play a role in the members' continuing success, and wish to take your personal development and leadership skills to another level, then you have what it takes to be a Club Executive. You will receive training for your respective positions.

Summer banquet to take place June 5
The Summer Awards Banquet will take place at Steamworks on Fri June 5th. The banquet is a Toastmasters meeting combined with dinner. There will be Table Topics in the first half and prepared speeches in the second half. During the break, we will enjoy a 3-course meal. Banquet meetings allow us to practice public speaking in a true banquet setting, similar to weddings and conferences. The banquet will also include an awards ceremony, where we recognize members with notable accomplishments.

Cost: $55 per person (incl tax & gratuity but not drinks)
